MJ - Mauricio Jimenez- is a senior healthcare technology executive with nearly three decades of experience driving strategic innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence across the healthcare payer landscape. Currently serving as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at MetroPlusHealth in New York City, MJ brings deep expertise in aligning technology with mission-driven healthcare delivery to improve outcomes and operational performance.

 Over the past two decades, MJ is lead large-scale Claims Administrative Platform (CAP) implementations and enterprise-wide transformation programs for plans across the country.

A published thought leader and speaker, MJ has authored whitepapers and delivered webinars on CAP modernization, IT strategy, and digital innovation in healthcare. MJ is deeply passionate about advancing equitable, data-driven healthcare and is committed to fostering cross-functional collaboration and inclusive leadership to drive business value and improve population health.

Beyond executive leadership, MJ is actively engaged in nonprofit and professional communities. MJ serves on the boards of Women in Healthcare Information Technology (WHIT) in California; the Coalition to End Homelessness in Broward County, Florida; the South Florida Chapter of HIMSS, and was a founding board member of National Voices for Equality, Education, and Enlightenment (NVEEE) in Miami, Florida.

MJ holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems with a specialization in IT Project Management from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami.
